Pocket Notebook!

January 10, 2011

This week, I’ve started coming to terms with the fact that if I don’t write things down, I’ll forget about them. Yes. I’m getting old.

SO,  for this edition of Make Monday, I thought it would be a pretty good idea to keep a pocket notebook handy.  This not only will help me remember who I’m supposed to meet up with but will also help me get rid of some stationary scraps

and unused paper in my archived journals.

Rainin’ Blood

April 27, 2010

During the past couple of gloomy days, I stayed cooped up, listened to one of my favorite metal albums (Reign in Blood by Slayer), and got crafty!

Some results of my metal induced furry are for sale on my Etsy shop, I Felt That.

Duh Bear (77/365)

February 19, 2010

My friend James is full of random ridiculous quotes and ideas. So much so that I’ve made a twitter account to document the things that he says that make me laugh, sometimes.

One of his ridiculous ideas was to become a bear. So with the help of a brown hoodie, some fake fur, and some scrap felt, I’m making it happen.

Patched Up Hearts (75/365)

February 14, 2010

I had a ton of red scrap felt, so I cut it into tons of little hearts and made Valentines day patches with my friends initials on them!

Its pretty simple all you need is:

  • embrodery floss
  • needle
  • felt
  • thread that is the same color of the felt
  • fusible interface

Sew the embroidery floss through the heart so that it creates a letter, stitch the interface onto the back and volia!

I made a card, and attached the patch onto it, but now i wish I would have somehow attached it to my Valentines Mix.

Joy the Adorably Sociopathic Tear

May 15, 2009

Tears of Joy

Meet Joy. She is the tear doll that I made to display the emotion I’m feeling during this extremely busy week.

Yeah, thats right. I make emotion dolls, because I don’t know how to show them. Its kind of sociopathic. Kind of adorable.
