This month, I turn 25 years old. I’ve been thinking about how much life has changed from birth up to now. For ONE thing, I am required to wear pants far more often than I did as an infant.
I wouldn’t consider myself a very feminine lady. I’m comfortable wearing denim….maybe a bit too comfortable, though. So in celebration of completing a quarter life, I am going back to the basics. For the month of May, I have decided that I will not be wearing pants at all for 30 days! Just skirts and dresses.
I gotta say, I’m really enjoying it, thus far. If you’re a bit of a tomboy living in warm climates for the next couple of months, I highly suggest this challenge.
It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want.

Ah, I must also add another digit to the 30 I’ve collected since last May.
Hey, even though you don’t consider yourself very feminine, you are still mega gorgeous, regardless of what you do or don’t wear.

Dresses are perfect for this sort of weather. In that spirit, I would like to invite you to my next cucumber sandwich, gin and tonic and bocce party. It would be much improved by dresses. Maybe I’ll wear one. See below (sans dress, but not in the exciting “sans” way).

I will happily wear dresses all month, except only over short since apparently they don’t make summer dresses for tall girls. Oh wait, I have to wear a frickin’ GOWN next month…forget it, no dresses this month. Gotta save up my girly points.

I’m finding out that I’m a bit too tall for the average dress, too.
I wore shorts for the first few days before I found the joy of underwear that looks like shorts!
but a GOWN?! that is fancy
Marriage or prom?

Thanks! Dresses are great for getting stuck in the rain, also. Then you don’t feel like you’ve just pee’d yourself

Wearing pants in Florida in the summer = anxiety and claustrophobia and heat stroke. I don’t care how masochistic you are, it simply cannot be done. I feel sick just thinking about jeans in July.

I feel ya, Lady!
I was a dress-a-phobic when I lived in Florida.
I don’t remember HOW I survived
